My emails havent been downloading for about a week. I cant fix it.

Ive been getting a MS message saying my payment credentials are out of date but MS has been deducting the payments so I figured it would be okay.

This message comes up every time. Internet connection is fine. My computer otherwise works okay.

"Task 'Synchronizing subscribed folders for ******@bigpond.com.' reported error (0x800CCC0E) : 'Outlook cannot synchronize subscribed folders for ******@bigpond.com. Error: Cannot connect to the server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'"

Have you tried deleting the account & re-adding it?

Are you running any third party antivirus &/or VPN software?

If you set up the account manually then double check the incoming & outgoing servers & ensure that the security is set to OAUTH 2.0 if supported, if not then you may require an app specific password which is used instead of the account password.

    Incoming Mail Server: imap.telstra.com

    Outgoing Mail Server: smtp.telstra.com

Outgoing Mail Port: 465 or 587

    Authentication: Yes

    Encryption: SSL enabled.

    App specific password:
