If this is an Outlook.com or Microsoft account name issue, update the Microsoft account name/display name in the Microsoft account settings.

If this is the name recipients see when email is sent from Outlook:

• Classic Outlook for Windows: go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings.
• Select the account, then choose Change.
• Update the Your name field to the full name.
• Select Next, then Close.
• Outlook for Mac: go to Tools > Accounts.
• Select the account.
• Under Personal Information, update Full Name.

Important:

• If the account type is Microsoft Exchange, the display name cannot be changed in Outlook. The Exchange administrator must make the change.
• In new Outlook for Windows, the option to edit the display name for email recipients is not yet available.
