Recovery Email - wrongly added @gmail.com.au

Hi,
I mistakenly added that my recovery email is @gmail.com.au instead of @gmail.com, so I have been unable to recover my Hotmail email address.
Given the obvious mistake of adding .au can this be reviewed by a person?
