Hi all

I am trying to access documents from purchase invoices, which has been added to Business Central through Document Capture (Continia). They are not located at the usual endpoints, such as attachments and documentAttachments.

I have found the CS_-tables which holds purchase invoice information, such as invoice date, supplier and more, but there is not link e.g. mediaReadLink, to view the actual attachment. To get access to those I added the permission "CDC Basic".

Have any of you found a solution for this issue?

Best, Victor

    Dear @Victor Fertin,

Good day! Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum!

Based on your description, I understand that you're trying to access purchase invoice documents stored in Business Central through Continia Document Capture. While you've located the related CS_ tables and can retrieve invoice metadata, you're unable to find a link or endpoint that provides access to the actual attached documents, even after assigning the CDC Basic permission set.

To ensure you receive guidance from specialists with deep experience in both Business Central and Continia Document Capture integrations, I kindly recommend posting your findings and any follow-up details in the Dynamics Community Forum Thread for Small and medium business | Business Central, NAV, RMS: https://community.dynamics.com/forums/thread/?discussionforumid=5f8261f4-4d87-ef11-ac21-7c1e520a09df

The Dynamics Community is monitored by Microsoft partners, MVPs, and product experts who may be able to provide insight into how Document Capture stores and exposes attachments.

Thank you for your kindness and understanding!
