How do I change the printer status from error? My printer is set as default yet I continue to receive and error message.

    If your printer has an LED screen on the printer, is there any error status indicated on that small screen?

    If there is an error, what is the make and model number of your printer and what is the error indicated.

    If there is no error indicated on the LED screen on your printer, the best option is to completely uninstall your printer, then restart (not shut down) your PC, and go to the support page for your printer on the manufacturers website to download and install the version of printer drivers, firmware and associated software they provide for your printer model.

    What does the error message say?

    Are you seeing an issue printing from any application on your PC, or is the problem limited to Word?
