Pop up box when trying to print says "detected Microsoft XPS document writer and Microsoft print to PDF port conflict." will not print or allow printer to connect to laptop. Running windows 11. error code is0x0000011b
The best option is to completely uninstall your printer, restart your PC, then go to the support page for your printer on the manufacturers website to download and reinstall the version of printer drivers, firmware and associated software they provide for our printer model.
If you have any difficulty locating the support page, what is the make and exact model number of your printer.

HP model is HP Envy 6000 series
HP9120 all in one and I have done all of the above. the issue is a microsoft issue not a printer issue as I can print from other devices

For testing purposes, open the old Control Panel.
At the top of the old Control Panel, set View to large icons.
Open the 'Programs and Features' applet.
Click 'Turn Windows features on or off' on the left side.
In the resulting list, disable 'Microsoft Print to PDF' and 'Microsoft XPS Document Writer'.
Apply that and restart (not shut down) your PC and check if that resolves the conflicting port error.
What printer do you own and is it connected to your computer or network? How is it connected, wi-fi or cable? Have you made it your default printer?
it is a 9120 all in one. connected to same network via wifi
