Browser cannot load any pages even though computer is connected to internet. ipconfig doesnt change this

Does the problem occur in apps or when trying to install updates?

Have you tried testing whether the issue happens on a different network, such as another Wi-Fi network or mobile data?

If ipconfig commands did not help, the next supported steps are:

1. Run the network reset commands again in this order from an elevated Command Prompt:
   • netsh winsock reset
   • netsh int ip reset
   • ipconfig /release
   • ipconfig /renew
   • ipconfig /flushdns
2. Restart the PC after running the commands.
3. If the browser still cannot load pages, try closing other running programs. Low memory, low disk space, and heavy background programs can slow or interfere with browser performance.
4. Check for spyware, viruses, and browser add-ons. These are listed as frequent causes of poor internet or browser performance. Run antispyware and antivirus software, and review installed browser add-ons.
5. If using Ethernet, try connecting to Wi‑Fi instead. This helps confirm whether the issue is specific to the Ethernet path.
6. If the problem continues on Ethernet, uninstall and reinstall the Ethernet network adapter driver:
   • Open Device Manager
   • Expand Network adapters
   • Right-click the Ethernet adapter
   • Select Uninstall device
   • Restart the PC so Windows reinstalls the driver

Note: uninstalling the network adapter driver can temporarily remove connectivity. Have a backup driver available first if possible.
