Using New Outlook on Windows for professional communication and productivity
Hi Vulsan
For viewing only unread emails in New Outlook for Windows, you can:
- Open the mail folder you want to view (e.g., Inbox folder)
- Select Filter at the top of the message list.
- Choose Unread.
To return to the normal view, select the Unread filter again or change the filter back to All.
Regarding Shapes in an email, this feature is currently not available in New Outlook for Windows. Unlike classic Outlook, New Outlook does not support inserting or drawing shapes (such as arrows, rectangles, circles, or text boxes) directly within the email body.
As a workaround, you can:
- Create the shape in another application such as Word, PowerPoint, or Paint.
- Save it as an image or take a screenshot.
- Insert the image into your email using Insert > Pictures.
