I have been trying to cancel my subscription but to no avail. Today you are taking out a new subscription and I want it stopped and money returned.

Log into any Microsoft account you may have on this link:

    https://account.microsoft.com/services/

Are you able to find your subscription listed there?

If so, click Manage on the subscription, are you able to cancel the subscription or disable the recurring billing on the subscription from there.

If not, what error is indicated when you try to cancel the subscription?

To stop a Microsoft 365 personal subscription and check for a refund:

    1. Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services/microsoft365 and sign in with the same Microsoft account used to buy the subscription.
    2. Select Cancel subscription. It might appear as Upgrade or Cancel.
    3. On the cancel page, review the details and select I don't want my subscription to complete the cancellation.
    4. If the page shows Turn on recurring billing instead, the subscription is already set to expire and no further action is required. Access continues until the shown expiration date.

If cancellation is not available, check these common causes:

    1. Purchased through Apple App Store, Google Play, or a third-party retailer: cancellation and refunds must be handled by that seller.
    2. Signed in with the wrong Microsoft account: use the same personal Microsoft account that purchased the subscription.
    3. Overdue balance or expired payment card: any money owed must be paid before cancellation can complete.

For the charge taken today after canceling, two documented reasons are:

    1. The cancellation was made too close to the billing date. Cancellations must be more than 2 days before the billing date.
    2. The charge is tied to a different Microsoft account. Check the Manage your payments page to investigate the billing charge.

If eligible, refund information appears after cancellation. If cancellation or refund still cannot be completed, use Contact Microsoft Support and select Get Help, then Contact Support.
