It's possible to include the i7-7820HK to the list of supported CPUs for win11?

My Razer blade pro have a Intel Core i7-7820HK and it's running the Windows 10, version 20H1 right now.

The other 2 processors from the 7820 family are now supported, but as the 7820HK is superior, would be possible for it to on the list?

Those are on the list:
Intel® Core™ i7-7820HQ
Intel® Core™ i7-7820X

I understand that the Surface Studio 2 have a 7820HQ, and as it's Microsoft product is supported, but as one of the tiny minority of notebooks made with the HK version, would be nice to see it supported.

Many thanks

    Hello LucasFeliciano,

Indeed that is a frequent question about different families of processeors where apparently some higher performance procesors are left aside while other versions are compatible. The main reason for that is not a minimum performance capacity, but instead the chip architecture regarding security. The same applies for non-TPM compatible processors. Microsoft have stressed in Security for Windows 11 after the many exploits and attacks around the world and different systems of the past year.

There is some official explanation about why i7-7820HQ inclusion as "change of mind" that may apply to the X version:

Quote:"Intel® Core™ 7820HQ (only select devices that shipped with modern drivers based on Declarative, Componentized, Hardware Support Apps (DCH) design principles, including Surface Studio 2)"
