I purchased Microsoft Office 365 and cannot sign in. I keep getting an error message incorrect password even though I have changed it and know that it is correct. This has been a total nightmare and I have been trying for 3 days. So frustrating. I cannot find a live agent to help me.

    Hello,

    1. Are you able to sign in to Office Online normally using your Microsoft account?
    • Open an incognito tab in any web browser and sign in with your Microsoft account here-
    • https://www.office.com

If you can sign in successfully with your Microsoft account and password, but you get an 'Incorrect Password' error when signing in on the Microsoft Office 365 desktop apps, here's what you can do -

    1. Use another method to sign in.

On the screen where it asks for your password, select "Other ways to sign in:" and use the recovery Phone number or email address to verify your identity, then sign in.

    2.

    Remove Office credentials.

    • Open the Control Panel.
    • Select "User accounts" > Credential Manager.
    • Select 'Windows credentials'.
    • Locate Microsoft Office credentials in the list, then click Remove.

(Remove all the credentials related to Microsoft Office) and then restart your computer.

Sign in with your Microsoft account on the Office applications.

Let me know if you still need more help.
