Using New Outlook on Windows for professional communication and productivity
Hi John,
For your concern, it is possible to use Outlook rule in this case, but only if two emails are not truly identical. If the sender, recipient address, and headers provide no difference, New Outlook does not have a built-in rule condition to distinguish them. Making a rule based on the newsletter sender or subject would likely send both copies to Deleted Items.
Therefore, I suggest you first check the two copies to confirm they're identical or not:
- Open each newsletter copy > More actions (…) on the top right > View > View message details.
- Compare the To, Cc, or mail-header information.
If they're the same, the most reliable fix is only to contact the publisher again and ask for their help.
Should you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to share them in the comment below. I'm very happy to help.
