A family of Microsoft word processing software products for creating web, email, and print documents.
Try these Windows display fixes first, since the issue appears across Microsoft apps and the closest matching guidance is a display color/profile problem rather than an app-specific setting:
- Open Settings and go to System > Display.
- Look for a Color Profile option.
- If it is set to Vivid, change it to sRGB.
- If it is set to Enhanced, change it to sRGB.
If the pink tint is related to Windows display color settings, also check these:
- In Settings, search for calibrate display color and follow the directions.
- In Start > Settings > System > Display > Night light settings, make sure Night light is not scheduled or enabled unexpectedly.
- If the Night light toggle is grayed out, update the display driver.
If the color issue is accompanied by flickering or broader display instability:
- Press Windows logo key + Ctrl + Shift + B to reset the graphics driver.
- Open Task Manager:
- If Task Manager flickers too, the display driver is probably the cause.
- If Task Manager does not flicker, an incompatible app is probably causing the problem.
- If an app is causing it, go to Settings > Apps > Apps & features, uninstall the suspected app, restart, and test again.
