I have got a new phone and trying to recover my personal email id on app but it keeps giving error message

For a personal Microsoft email account on a new phone, the supported recovery path is:

Start with the Sign-in Helper tool. It checks the email address or phone number being used and identifies common sign-in problems.
If the password is forgotten, use Recover your account and enter the email address, phone number, or Skype name used to sign in.
When prompted, choose where to receive the security code, select Next, enter the requested information, then Send code.
Enter the code in Verify your identity, select Next, then set a new password.
If the account or username is not recognized, verify the exact email domain and spelling. Microsoft accounts can use different domains such as .com and .co.uk. If another alias or phone number is on the account, try that instead.
If the phone or email shown for verification is unfamiliar or no longer accessible, select I don't have any of these during sign-in and follow the prompts to recover the account.
If the error says “We couldn't find an account with that username” or similar, use the Sign-in Helper tool.
If the account has not been signed in to for more than two years, it may have been deleted and cannot be reopened.
If recovery still fails, use Contact support from the account support flow. Support agents cannot send password reset links or change account details.

If the issue is specifically in Outlook mobile after changing the primary alias on an Outlook.com account, the documented workaround is to delete and re-add the account in the app: Settings > affected account > Delete Account, then add it again.
