    Hello,

Check your Junk or SPAM email folders and see whether the verification code emails have ended up there.

Alternatively, please add the sender's address/domain to the safe sender list. To do that,

-Sign in with your Microsoft account using the link below.

    https://outlook.live.com/mail/0/junkemail

Check the blocked sender list first.

If you see the email address that you want to receive emails from in the lists, remove the address there and add it to the safe sender's list.

Also, use a private browsing tab and try requesting the verification code on the website you're trying to sign in to. See if you receive it on Outlook email.

Common causes and fixes for missing Microsoft verification codes:

    1. Check the correct destination.
      • Email verification codes are sent only to the primary alias or another email added as a sign-in verification method.
      • If using phone, confirm the displayed last two digits match the expected number.
    2. Check Junk or Spam.
      • Look for messages from @accountprotection.microsoft.com.
      • Mark @accountprotection.microsoft.com as a trusted sender.
    3. Avoid repeated requests.
      • Excessive or repetitive requests can trigger a temporary block and stop codes from being sent.
    4. Check for temporary blocking conditions.
      • Unusual activity on the account can cause Microsoft to temporarily stop sending codes.
      • Heavy compromised traffic from a geographic region can also delay or prevent delivery for a period of time.
    5. If using SMS:
      • Make sure the phone does not block texts from unknown numbers.
      • If prompted, choose I don't have a code to request another one.
      • Check whether the message inbox is full or the messaging app is malfunctioning.
      • VOIP numbers cannot be used to receive verification codes; a mobile phone number is required.
      • In some regions, Microsoft SMS services may have limited or temporary availability.
    6. Verify security info.
      • For a personal Microsoft account, sign in to the Security basics page and select Update info: Sign in
      • Then choose a method that is known to work, or choose I don't have any of these to replace security info.
    7. If the alternate email is another Microsoft account such as @outlook.com, @hotmail.com, @live.com, or @msn.com:
      • Open the first account in a privacy-mode browser window.
      • Keep that window open when prompted for the code.
      • Open a second privacy-mode window and sign in to the alternate email account there to retrieve the code.
      • In Microsoft Edge, the InPrivate shortcut is Ctrl + Shift + P.
    8. If seeing Try another verification method:
      • Use a different verification method already connected to the account.
      • Try another network, such as switching between Wi-Fi and cellular.
      • Wait before retrying. Repeated attempts can extend the block. Guidance says waiting a day may help, and if needed, wait longer up to 1 week.
