    I see that you've posted this under the Education category. To help clarify:

    • Are you trying to activate Microsoft 365 using a school/university account?
    • If so, you normally do not need a product key or license code. Educational licenses are typically assigned to your school account by your institution's IT administrator. You simply sign in to Microsoft 365 apps (such as Excel) using your school email address, and the license should activate automatically. Please note that A1 will not include Office desktop apps, only A3/5 include it.

    If you're using a school account, please let me know:

    1. What happens when you sign in to Excel with your education account?
    2. Do you receive any error messages?
    3. Can you access Microsoft 365 online at https://www.office.com using the same account?
