my subscription that I have been paying for on apple is not recognized

Hi,

Log in to your subscription account. Does it show that your payment is current and your subscription is active?

If yes, what version of macOS are you using (for example, Ventura 13, Monterey 12, Sonoma 14, or Sequoia 15)?

If the subscription was purchased through Apple, billing and subscription management must be handled through Apple, not the Microsoft subscriptions page.

Try this:

1. Check whether the subscription is active in Apple subscriptions.
2. In the Microsoft 365 app used for the purchase, sign out.
3. Close and reopen the app.
4. Select Restore previous purchase on the Get started with Microsoft 365 window.
5. Sign in with the same Microsoft account that was used when the subscription was originally associated.

Important details:

• App Store purchases are associated with the Microsoft account that was signed in to the Office app at the time of purchase.
• If signed in with a different Microsoft account, the subscription may not be recognized.
• Microsoft cannot cancel, refund, or modify billing for subscriptions purchased through Apple.

If the subscription is active in Apple but still is not recognized after restoring the purchase, contact Microsoft Support. If the issue is billing, cancellation, or refund related, contact Apple.
