Remote Desktop Server Expired Early

I am currently testing the remote desktop services on our new server and I wanted to make sure it worked on all areas its required to, before purchasing the licensing. I probably activated the server around 2 months ago and it stated 120 day trial period, the server has stopped working this morning and is reporting that the grace period has expired and when I run the command line query to find the grace days left it reports 0.

Is there anyway that I can re-activate the trial period to finish the 120 days so that I can continue to test before purchase?

Thanks

    Hello Bradley Robinson1

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with your Remote Desktop Server.

Sometimes activation issues can cause the trial period to expire prematurely. Make sure the server is properly activated, and there are no issues with the activation process.

The 120-day trial period for RDS is designed to allow users to evaluate the product before purchasing a license. Once this trial period has expired, you typically cannot extend it or re-activate it.

You can try contacting Microsoft Support and explain your situation. They may be able to provide you with an extension or suggest a workaround for your testing needs.

    Regards,

    Karlie Weng
