Hello

when i do My azure calc , I can add Managed disks but why they don't give me the ability to add numbers for different disk size as the below snapshot i am only enforced to change the number for the same disks .

in the Azure calc from where can i add multiple managed disks with different sizes

when shall i user storage account in my calc?

Azure storage accounts and disks created under this storage account shall be consider as Managed disks ? can host vm disks?

    Hi @Moonlight ,

    that's exactly the way to create a VM with additional data disks in your latest screenshot.
    In the Azure Price Calculator you need Virtual Machine and StorageAccount/ManagedDisks (like I posted in my screenshot).
    If you want to deploy a VM in Azure Portal you should add the data disks like in your latest screenshot in your comment.

    Hi @Moonlight ,

    the managed disk in the VM part in the Azure Price Calculator (marked in yellow in the screenshot below) is for the OS disk of the VM.
    If you want to add additional disk (data disks) to the VM you have to add a "Storage Account" in the Azure Price Calculator (marked in green in the screenshot below). This way you can use "independent sizes/types" for your calculation.#

    Hey You can add separate storage account with Managed disk option, Its available.
