Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hi @PAUL GREELEY,
Microsoft Q&A is a public community forum and I don't represent Microsoft. Therefore, I do not have access to customer billing accounts, payment information, or credit card records.
To better understand what happened and provide you with the most accurate solution, could you please provide a few additional details?
- Did you receive the cancellation notification by email, or did you see it in the Microsoft 365 admin center/subscriptions page?
- Do you have access to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, or are you able to contact the Microsoft 365 administrator for your organization?
- When you updated your credit card information, did you only replace the payment method, or did you also make any changes to the subscription itself (such as changing billing frequency, quantity of licenses, or renewing/canceling services)?
- Is this a self-service subscription or one purchased through a Microsoft partner/reseller?
- Were there any other email notifications from Microsoft around the same time regarding billing, payment failures, renewal changes, or subscription management?
If possible, please share a screenshot of the notification (with any personal information removed), as well as the current subscription status shown in the admin portal. This will help determine whether the subscription was actually canceled or whether the message was generated as part of a billing or payment-method update process.
In the meantime, if you have access to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, I recommend contacting the Microsoft Billing Support team for more direct assistance, as they have access to the appropriate tools and resources to investigate the subscription status and billing history in greater detail.
Looking forward to your response so we can get this sorted out for you together.
