Microsoft Authenticator Cloud Backup is Empty – Previous OTP Accounts Missing

Hello Microsoft Support,

I urgently need help with a Microsoft Authenticator Cloud Backup issue.

Before I factory-reset my Android phone, Microsoft Authenticator contained several OTP/TOTP accounts, and Cloud Backup was enabled. After reinstalling the app and signing in with the same backup account, the backup is now completely empty and none of my previous OTP accounts appear.

I have already regained access to my Microsoft account. This is not a sign-in problem.

I need to know whether my previous Authenticator backup still exists on Microsoft’s servers, whether an older backup/version can be recovered, or whether the previous backup was overwritten by a new empty backup.

This is urgent because the missing OTP accounts are needed to access several other services.

Please have a Microsoft Authenticator specialist investigate the previous backup rather than sending me general setup instructions.
