Your options are to use either the Global reader role, or one of the lower privileged Teams admin roles, but there is no pure "read only for Teams" role. Alternatively, you can use a solution based on the Graph API and limit it to only Group.Read.All/GroupMember.Read.All permissions.
teams administrator with read only permission
Hy,
our organization would like to find someone outside our IT Group to whom we can provide the permissions to see the teams created in our Teams Admin center and all the users who are part of it.
Something like a Teams Administrator but with read only permission.
The Global Reader role does not fit this purpose as it can access the entire Microsoft 365 Administration interface. And not even the Teams Administrator role does because it has got the permission to modify the teams.
Is there a way which could help us to manage this issue even by using powershell commands?
Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

2021-10-25T05:44:49.617+00:00 Microsoft Teams is not provide the read-only administrator. It provides several Teams admin roles available: Teams administrator, Teams communications administrator, Teams communications support specialist, Teams communications support engineer, and Teams Device Administrator. You could review this article to understand what each role can do and which tools the admin can use in the Microsoft Teams admin center
