Additional features, settings, or issues not covered by specific Microsoft Teams categories
Dear ガーバー ジェイソン/Jason Gerber,
Just to make sure I understand correctly, are you referring to the small white “T” inside the Teams icon, as shown in the image?
If so, I would like to clarify that the “T” is part of the Teams icon itself. The notification for new activity/messages is displayed separately as a badge in the upper-right corner of the icon, as shown by the red notification indicator in the image. Therefore, the notification indicator is separate from the white “T” within the Teams icon.
If your concern is that the “T” itself is too small and could be mistaken for the number “1,” you may also try increasing the Windows display scale to make the toolbar and its icons larger:
- Open Settings > System > Display.
- Under Scale & layout, locate Scale.
- Check the current value, such as 100%.
- Select a larger available value, such as 200%, for testing.
Please note that changing the Windows display scale will enlarge other interface elements as well, not only the Teams icon.
If your concern is specifically about the design and appearance of the white “T,” rather than the notification badge, there is no need to continue adjusting the display solely for this purpose. Based on the current appearance you have described, I would recommend submitting product feedback regarding the visibility and accessibility of the Teams icon so that Microsoft can consider the suggestion for future improvements.
In this case, I sincerely recommend you go to Feedback community to vote this similar feedback: (find out similar feedback, if not provide the feedback forum link Ideas · Community). Your feedback has been duly noted and is highly valued, as it provides with essential insights to continue improving and refining the products and services in the future.
Please notice and accept my apologies that as moderators in the community, we are not supported for the product design and have limited resources for the advanced info for Microsoft products. I hope this helps. Thank you for your understanding. Please let me know if you have any additional questions or if there is anything else I can assist you with.
