First make sure data and time is correct. Follow the troubleshooting methods provide by Microsoft in this article:

I personally suggest to remove previous files, delete cache and reinstall.

    Hi,

Can you provide more details about what's not working? Are you seeing any error messages or anything unusual when you try to use it? Aside from the troubleshooting steps provided in the automated answer, please also share a screenshot so I can get a better idea of what's happening.

Try these steps in order. After each step, open Edge again and check whether it works.

    1. End existing Edge processes
      • Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open Task Manager.
      • End every msedge.exe task.
      • Start Edge again.
    2. Update Edge
      • Open Settings and more > Settings > About Microsoft Edge.
      • Install any available update.
    3. Restart the PC
      • Restart Windows, then try Edge again.
    4. Clear browsing data if Edge opens but pages do not load correctly
      • Go to Settings and more > History > Open history page > Delete browsing data.
      • Set Time range to All time.
      • Select Browsing history and Cached images and files.
      • Select Clear now.
    5. Check for network or website issues if only some pages fail
      • Try the same page in another browser.
      • If it also fails there, restart the modem and router.
      • If needed, contact the website owner.
    6. Scan for malware
    7. Check third-party security software
      • If antivirus or security software is installed, open it and install any available updates.
    8. Test with a temporary Edge profile
      • Open Command Prompt and run:
         "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\msedge.exe" --user-data-dir="%TEMP%\edge-test-profile"

      • If Edge works with the test profile, the original profile is likely corrupted.
    9. Create a new profile if the temporary profile works
      • Close all Edge windows.
      • Go to %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Edge\User Data.
      • Rename Default to Default.old.
      • Start Edge to create a fresh profile.
      • If Edge is stable, copy needed data such as Bookmarks from Default.old to the new Default profile.
    10. Repair Edge
    • Make sure Edge is closed and there are no other logged-in users running it.
    • Go to Start > Settings > Apps > Installed apps.
    • Select Microsoft Edge > Modify > Repair.
    • Internet connection is required.
    • Browser data and settings should not be affected.
    • If Modify is not available, Edge is likely managed by the organization and the system administrator must handle the repair.
    1. Turn off graphics acceleration if Edge shows a blank window or becomes unresponsive after opening
    • Go to edge://settings/system.
    • Turn off Use graphics acceleration when available.
    • Restart Edge.
