Startups: Companies that are in their initial stages of business and typically developing a business model and seeking financing.
Reapplying is supported, but a submitted application can’t be edited. If the earlier application is still pending, use the confirmation email to delete it and then reapply. If it was declined, reapplication is allowed after 14 days.
If there is a 10-character referral code, enter it during the application process. Microsoft does not publicly share the list of participating investors, so referral code questions must go through the accelerator or VC that provided the code.

For the application itself:
- Sign in with a personal consumer Microsoft account.
- Work, school, and company-domain email accounts aren’t accepted for the sign-up steps.
- If applying with a referral code, the process includes entering personal information, verifying contact email and phone number, then entering business information.
