    Hi,

    The screenshot shows that Word cannot verify your Office license. Please try repairing Office first:

    1. Save your work and close all Office apps.
    2. Open Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features.
    3. Select Microsoft Office or Microsoft 365, then select Change.
    4. Choose Quick Repair if available. If the issue continues, try Online Repair while connected to the internet. If you only see Repair, select that option and follow the prompts.
    5. Restart your computer and try opening Word again.

    If the error remains, could you please share which Office version you use (for example, Microsoft 365, Office 2021, or Office 2024), and whether it was provided by your school or purchased personally? Also, did Word work previously, and do Excel or PowerPoint show the same error?
