When attempting to open Outlook was required to re-log into my Yahooo account. Now my notes folder is empty. How/where can I recover my notes file?

    Hello Timothy Farmer,

After Outlook required you to sign in to your Yahoo account again, it may have opened a different Outlook data file or profile.

    I recommend trying the following:

    1. In classic Outlook, press Ctrl+6 to display the full Folder List. Expand each Outlook data file shown and check its Notes and Deleted Items folders.
    2. Select File > Account Settings > Account Settings > Data Files and check whether an older Outlook data file is still listed.
    3. If you have a backup PST file, select File > Open & Export > Open Outlook Data File, open it, and check its Notes folder.

Avoid removing the Yahoo account or deleting any Outlook data files before making a backup. If no previous data file or backup contains the notes, I'm afraid they may not be recoverable.

Please let me know how it goes after trying these steps, and I'll be glad to continue looking into it with you.
