    Hello sharon henderson

I’m sorry you have spent so much time on this, especially with an urgent project waiting. The message indicates that your payment succeeded, but the purchase was not properly linked to your Microsoft account.

    Please try the following:

    1. Sign in to the Microsoft Services & subscriptions page using the Microsoft account you used during the purchase.
    2. If the subscription is not listed, check any other email addresses you may have used and search your inboxes for the Microsoft purchase confirmation.
    3. If the subscription appears as active, open Excel, select File > Account, sign out of every account shown, and then sign back in using the account that displays the subscription.
    4. On Windows, you can also run the Microsoft 365 activation troubleshooter and restart the computer.

For the urgent document, try signing in to Microsoft 365 for the web with the same account and use Excel for the web temporarily. If the workbook opens, save or download an additional copy so your current work is protected.

Feel free reply back to this post and update me on this issue, I'll be happy to help
