When will the new Outlook support rsvp buttons on calendar invites?

Who's your email service provider? How is the email address set up?

If the email is set up as POP or IMAP, the calendar is not supported because they are for syncing emails only; hence, when you get a calendar invite, you will not get the RSVP buttons. The email needs to be set up as an exchange in order for calendar feature to work, and that also depends on if the email service provider supports the exchange protocol for their addresses.

Thank you for your prompt answer. I'm sorry about the delay in responding to you. I use yahoo as my email service provider. Is it possible to see the rsvp buttons on an outlook invite received as a yahoo email?

According to this document, you should be able to with yahoo email https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/outlook/getstarted/sync-your-account-in-outlook-to-the-microsoft-cloud?nochrome=true

but the Yahoo account needs to be connected using the normal Yahoo sign-in/OAuth method so it syncs through Microsoft Cloud. If your Yahoo account was added as a generic IMAP account instead, IMAP only supports mail, so the calendar/RSVP integration will not work.

I would try removing the Yahoo account from New Outlook and adding it again through:

Settings > Accounts > Your accounts > Add account

Enter the Yahoo address, then complete the Yahoo sign-in and permission prompts rather than manually entering IMAP settings.
