    Dear 祐邦子 山本,

It sounds like Teams is showing a verification code during sign-in, but you don't see anywhere to enter it. To help narrow this down, could you please provide a bit more information?

    • Are you signing in on a Windows PC, Mac, iPhone/iPad, or Android device?
    • Is this a work or school account provided by your company?
    • Where are the numbers being displayed: in Teams, Microsoft Authenticator, or another app?
    • What is the exact message shown along with the numbers?
    • Are you trying to sign in for the first time, or have you previously used Teams with this account?
    • Do you see options such as "Use a code", "Sign in another way", or "Approve sign-in request"?
    • If possible, could you share a screenshot of the sign-in screen with any personal information blurred out?

In the meantime, please try the following troubleshooting steps:

Step 1: Try signing in through Teams on the web to see if the sign-in process behaves differently.‌

Step 2: Ensure your device has a stable internet connection and that the Teams app is updated to the latest version.

Note: If you're using a mobile device, try signing in from a computer, or vice versa, to determine whether the issue is device-specific.

Moreover, if you cannot sign in to your Microsoft account, please refer to this Microsoft article: I can't sign in to my Microsoft account

If you have any questions or if I have misunderstood anything, please feel free to reach out. I'm looking forward to your update.

This usually means the account is using Microsoft Authenticator number matching. The app shows a 2-digit number, and that number must be entered only when the sign-in prompt asks for it.

    Try this:

    1. Make sure the account is a work account and not a personal Teams account.
      • If Teams shows only items like Activity, Community, Chat, and Calendar, or work content is missing, sign in with the work or school account instead.
    2. Start the sign-in again in Teams.
      • On desktop: open Microsoft Teams from Start on Windows or Applications on Mac.
      • On web: open https://teams.microsoft.com/.
      • Sign in with the Microsoft 365 work username and password.
    3. Wait for the full verification prompt.
      • Depending on organization settings, an extra verification step may appear.
      • The number shown in Microsoft Authenticator is only used when the sign-in screen asks for it.
    4. If the prompt never appears, or Authenticator keeps showing numbers with nowhere to enter them:
      • Contact the workplace IT admin.
      • Ask them to check or reset the Microsoft Entra multifactor authentication registration for the account and allow the device to be re-registered.
      • This is the recommended fix for business/work accounts when verification is stuck.
    5. If Teams signs in to the wrong account, switch to the work account.
      • Being signed in with a personal Microsoft account can prevent access to workplace Teams features.

If Teams shows a status code in the lower-left corner of the sign-in window, send that code to the IT admin. In many sign-in cases, only the IT admin or sysadmin can resolve the issue.
