I have the same problem also.. It's really bad news!
especially with such expensive and powerful processor!

I think we must to think seriously about switching to Apple devices, as they are more stable and we can update IOS periodically regardless of the processors or generation of Macbook

    Hi @NAVEEN KUMAR ,

The processor are selected by various parameters and the important one is DCH Design Principles.

Some of the 7th generation processor and all 8th generation Intel processor are supported for Windows 11. It seems your Intel i7-6500U is not in the list and it might not support the Windows 11.

    Windows 11 supported Intel processors

Same problem here, with identical processor.
It has never happened in my memory that a version of Windows has discarded processors in this way. We are talking about a processor launched on the market six years ago, therefore of PCs with a maximum age of five years.
Not even video games that run on Intel, AMD or other platforms have never been so picky, at worst they run slow or have demands on the graphics side.
At this point I honestly don't care if Microsoft and Intel disagree with serious policies to ensure mutual compatibility of OS and processors: the next PC will be exactly the same one I'm using right now and will have a Linux distribution (and no OneDrive, Sharepoint, Office, etc.).
I have to be productive, I don't care about being fashionable.

Possibly MS is pushing people to Ubuntu. All those processors run just fine with latest Ubuntu and you can bet that next LTS will support those processors. Time to switch?

It is one thing when you have few users here and there, but when you have whole business that usually get similar hardware to minimize maintenance affected with decision like this, it is for us IT folks to get creative and offer alternative...
