Last name issue

I am trying to apply for a certification exam but last name is a mandatory to fill. But as per my legal documents I don't have any last name. What should I do?

Use an underscore _ character for the last name

For Microsoft Certification exams, enter the legal name exactly as it appears on the government-issued ID that will be presented at the exam.

If there is no legal last name, enter _ in the last name field.

Before scheduling or taking the exam, make sure the Learn Profile legal name matches the ID. If a legal name is missing from the Learn Profile, the registration flow redirects to add it, and the legal name must match the Legal ID or the exam cannot be taken.

If there is already a mismatch in the certification profile or a previous exam attempt was blocked because of the name format, contact Credentials Support.
