How to fix microsoft apps error

Whenever I want to use a microsoft app, an error notification pops up and tells me that the app is run into an error that is preventing it from working correctly. And it gives me the choice to click on repair it now and by doing that nothing changes. I use an HP elitebook i7 gen 11.

Since Repair Now does not work, exit all Office apps and run an Online Repair. See https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/lifecycle/repair-an-office-application .

Before you begin, verify that you can access your account at https://account.microsoft.com/services and that Office is associated with it. This lets you reinstall Office after the repair (required step in most cases).
