I am experiencing issues related to resource scaling and storage capacity in my Azure SQL Database. During the week prior to the support case, there was abnormal behavior linked to resource scaling and storage, which was partially mitigated by increasing storage on September 23. However, I am unsure if the problem was fully resolved or if it persists. The issue manifested as storage reaching its limit for two consecutive days, preventing write operations, such as creating coupons in Argentina, due to excessive growth of database files caused by a promotional display query. Despite the storage increase, the root cause remains unclear, and I lack detailed error messages or telemetry data to pinpoint the exact problem.

Lo que ya he probado

Revisé los registros disponibles en busca de correlaciones concluyentes, y aumenté el tamaño del almacenamiento el 23 de septiembre, lo que solo mitigó parcialmente el comportamiento. También revisé documentación sobre límites de almacenamiento y cómo escalar recursos, pero no obtuve diagnósticos adicionales ni datos de telemetría que profundicen en la causa.

Estado actual

El aumento de almacenamiento alivió el problema solo parcialmente y aún no tengo certeza sobre la causa raíz. Solicito orientación para identificar el problema subyacente y recomendaciones para prevenir futuras incidencias similares.
