Refund subscription.

Question

I am living in Leeds, UK. On a 29 day of use I canceled my microsoft 365 subscription. When I will receive refund on my bank account?

Alright. To be honest I can't understand about confirmation of cancellation. Because I've done it on my phone, into apple subscription. There I have notification that I cancelled my subscription. But on my mac studio I ca work into word document. That is confuse me. I don't see any confirmation from Microsoft. But following the link, which I received on my email, I see 0 payment. Thats why I'm asking, because I can't understand what is going on.

Since you purchased Microsoft 365 through Apple and canceled it under your Apple subscriptions, the billing and any refund are handled by Apple, not Microsoft. Microsoft cannot issue a refund for an App Store purchase.

Canceling the subscription normally stops the next renewal. It does not automatically mean a refund was requested. This can also explain why Word still works on your Mac: you may still have access until the subscription's expiration date.

On your iPhone, please go to "Settings" > your name > "Subscriptions" > "Microsoft 365." What expiration date does it show?

If you want a refund for the payment already made, check Apple's refund page:

https://reportaproblem.apple.com/

Sign in with the Apple Account used for the purchase, select "Request a refund," and check whether Microsoft 365 appears there.

The £0 you see on the Microsoft link is also not necessarily a refund confirmation because the payment was handled by Apple.

If you have already submitted a refund request to Apple, let me know what status Apple shows. Apple normally gives an update within 24–48 hours. If approved, a refund to a credit or debit card can take up to 30 days to appear.

When you canceled the Microsoft 365 subscription, did Microsoft confirm that a refund was approved, or did it only confirm the cancellation?

If Microsoft issued the refund, it is normally returned to the original payment method within about 3–5 business days. Your bank may take a little longer to show it in your account.

You can also check the refund status in your Microsoft account "Order history": https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders
