Microsoft apps not working on Mac

Dear all.

My microsoft apps have stopped working on my Mac. Can someone help me re-activate them please?

They stopped working when I went from Australia to the UK (? coincidental timing) but have have not worked since my return. There is an option to 'activate' the subscription at the top of the apps when I open them (by logging in with an existing account) otherwise they are read only documents. When I tried to activate it with my personal email/account it kept coming up with an error. I therefore bought a new annual subscription (thinking mine had expired), but it is not working either. I have tried my work email (which works on my phone and work computers) but this comes up with the same error. My personal email account shows that the microsoft office personal subscription has been purchased/completed but, as I said, it won't let me login. Microsoft support is entirely unhelpful as the FAQs don't address this and the contact links are also not working.

Thanks.

There are some reported problems with the Office apps on an Apple Mac at the moment.

At the top left of your Mac desktop, click the Apple icon and select 'About this Mac', what version of MacOS is installed on your computer?
