ive been trying to update my computer for 2 days and its not having it its either saying failed installation or retry i keep getting Install error - 0x800700c1for the Windows 11, version 25H2

Settings > system > Recovery > Fix problems using windows update, select Reinstall now. It will try to repair your current installation at the current build and version.

It will make sure there is nothing wrong with the current version that may prevent to up date. What is the current version and build?

2026-09-27T15:39:09.7933333+00:00 There is never 100% certainty but you don't know until you try. Although 23H2 is someway behind and will not be supported via windows update to go from 24H2 to 25H2.
Wait until Ramesh has looked at the log files to be sure there is no block.

What's the size of CBS.log? If the file size is less, you should be able to upload it by clicking on the paperclip icon in your reply window.
Otherwise, zip the file and share it on a file-sharing site like WeTransfer.com or https://transfer.pcloud.com/

Please try these steps exactly.
- Download SFCFix.exe by niemiro of Sysnative forums, and save this to your Desktop.
- Download the file, SFCFix.zip, and save this to your Desktop. Ensure that this file is named SFCFix.zip - do not rename it.
- On your Desktop, you should see two files:
SFCFix.exeandSFCFix.zip. Drag the fileSFCFix.ziponto the fileSFCFix.exeand release it. See illustration image - When you see the prompt "Will you allow SFCFix to communicate with Sysnative servers?", type "n" for no. Press Enter to continue.
- SFCFix will now process the script. It will take some time to complete. Upload the output file
SFCFix.txt. - Restart Windows and try running the following command:
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth -
