    Hi,

Are you signed in to the same Microsoft account in your Office apps that you used to purchase the subscription?

You can confirm by signing in here: https://account.microsoft.com/services

Does the subscription appear there and is it listed as active?

Are you using MacOS or Windows?

In the meantime, open any Office app, sign out of your account, restart your computer, sign back in, and check if the issue persists.

That alert is commonly triggered by a Microsoft 365 payment-status problem, even when the subscription should already be paid. Since the subscription shows paid through 9/2028, check these items in order:

    1. Close all Office apps.
    2. Sign in to Services & subscriptions and confirm the Microsoft 365 subscription shows as Active with no past-due balance.
    3. Go to Payment options and check whether the saved payment method shows any error. If it does, update it.
    4. Reopen PowerPoint and see whether the banner is gone.

If the payment was recently fixed, the notice can persist for up to 24 hours while payment status syncs.

If the alert still appears after that:

    1. Make sure the subscription renewal actually completed successfully by checking the expiration date online.
    2. If Microsoft 365 was purchased as a physical box/card or through an email receipt flow, the subscription does not fully start until the product key is redeemed or the receipt link is completed.
    3. If the subscription is active online but Office still shows the billing banner, sign out of Office, restart the PC, then sign back in to refresh the license state.
    4. If it still continues, contact Microsoft Support.

If this is a work or school subscription instead of a personal one, the Microsoft 365 admin or IT department needs to check it.
