Hi Team,

Im having some pretty significant activation errors with Windows 11. Its a retail license from an older version of windows that qualified for the upgrade to Windows 11

Ive tried activating through the portal, through windows itself and hittibg the troubleshoot button.

Latest try was through the slmgr /ato but that gives me CLiP device license not found" error often paired with activation error 0xC0EA000A.

I tried to register the product key manually through slmgr /ipk which says its successful but then /ato still throws the same error.

Tried restarting the ClipSVC and hitting the troubleshoot button through the activation panel, none of which work.

The device is showing in my microsoft account and i did try removing/re-adding that.

Current OS:

Windows 11 Home/Core

Version 26H2

OS Build 26300.9457

MSI B360M GAMING PLUS (MS-7B19)

Activation status:

Windows is not activated

slmgr /ato returns 0xC0EA000A

Error: “CLiP license device ID does not match the device ID in the bound device license.”

Activation Troubleshooter → “I recently changed my hardware” says it cannot find any devices linked to my Microsoft account that can be used to reactivate this device.

The PC does appear in my Microsoft account's device list.
