Microsoft for Startups Program Support inaccessible — all support routes redirect to Azure refund page

I am an active Microsoft for Startups member with $5,000 of $150,000 Azure credits currently unlocked.

I need Microsoft for Startups Program Support to review our Azure credit milestone progression. Our Azure usage appears to satisfy the published workload requirements for a higher credit milestone.

However, I cannot create a Microsoft for Startups Program Support ticket.

I have tried:

  • Microsoft for Startups portal
  • the official aka.ms/startuphelp-mfs-portal support link
  • Microsoft for Startups in Azure Portal
  • Help + Support → Create a support request
  • Billing / credit request
  • Subscription-management related support routes

All program-support routes ultimately redirect me to the generic Azure support wizard, and the wizard sends me to an unrelated Azure refund page instead of allowing me to submit a Microsoft for Startups program ticket.

The Your Microsoft Team / Get program support entry point described in Microsoft documentation is not available in my Microsoft for Startups experience.

We joined Microsoft for Startups before May 29, 2026, so this may be related to the legacy-to-new portal transition.

Could a Microsoft moderator please escalate this to Microsoft for Startups Program Support / Azure Sponsorship & Credits / Entitlements, or have the Program Support entry point enabled for our account?

Once connected to Program Support, I need them to review:

  1. The qualifying workload count Microsoft currently sees for our subscription.
  2. The start date of our continuous 7-workload qualification period.
  3. Whether our $50,000 milestone is met, pending validation, or blocked by another requirement.

I can provide our Azure subscription ID, billing exports, current credit balance, and screenshots privately as required.

    Hi @Sahal

That redirect loop is a known pain point during the portal transition, and since you joined before May 29, 2026, your support entry point is still the legacy Startups portal, not the Azure wizard. The Azure routes you tried were never going to reach Program Support, which is why they dead-end on the refund page.

Try the program team's direct form, bypassing the portal navigation entirely:

    1. Open https://portal.startups.microsoft.com/support-form in a fresh browser session, signed in with the account you enrolled with.
    2. Ask for a milestone progression review and paste your three questions exactly as written above. They're the right questions.
    3. Attach a Cost analysis export for the sponsored subscription, grouped by service name with daily granularity, covering the whole qualification window. Only the sponsored subscription counts, and this is what the team uses to count workloads and check the continuous period.
    4. Note in the ticket that the Your Microsoft Team / Get program support section is missing from your experience, so they can fix the entry point too.

If that form loads, you're through. Moderators here also forward startup cases to the program team and will ask for your subscription ID by private message, so keep IDs off the public thread.

Does the direct form open for you, or does it also bounce to the Azure wizard? If it bounces, tell me the exact URL you land on, and we'll take the other route.

If this helped, please click Accept Answer so others caught in the same loop can find it.
