Go to the Microsoft Store > check if the Microsoft account is the same one that has Game Pass. If so, search for Call of Duty > in the Xbox app or Microsoft Store.

Select Install and check the option for BO7, as shown in the photo below:

2026-10-09T15:01:37.2566667+00:00 Try these steps in order:
- Open Microsoft Store on the PC, go to Library, and check whether the game appears there with an Install option. If it does, install it from Library instead of the product page.
- Update Windows: Start > Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates.
- Update Microsoft Store: open Microsoft Store > Library > Get updates.
- Close and reopen the Store/Xbox app, then restart the PC after updates finish.
- If the issue is only with Xbox/Game Pass installs on PC, repair Gaming Services:
- Open PowerShell as Administrator.
- Run
get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers - In the same window, run
start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN - Install Gaming Services, accept the UAC prompt, then try again.
- If the Xbox app may be out of date, update or reinstall it:
- Open PowerShell as Administrator.
- Run
get-appxpackage Microsoft.XboxApp | remove-AppxPackage -allusers - Then run
start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9mv0b5hzvk9z - Install the Xbox app again.
If it still says the game must be purchased after Store, Windows, Gaming Services, and Xbox app are updated, contact Microsoft Support for a private entitlement check.
