This AM I was notified that I had a substantial amount of rewards points available that might become unavailable after 10/15. I had enough points to redeem for $50 in Amazon gift cards, I redeemed three $10 cards when the remainder of my points disappeared. Where did they go and who can I speak with to get them back

    Hi,

Your missing Microsoft Rewards points may be related to an account adjustment or expiration, but you will need to check your Rewards account to determine what happened.

Sign in to your Microsoft Rewards dashboard here: https://rewards.bing.com/ and check your points balance and redemption history.

If the missing points are not accounted for, contact Microsoft Rewards Support here: https://rewards.bing.com/support to request a review of your points balance and find out why the points disappeared.

Please include the approximate number of points missing and the date you noticed the change so the support team can investigate.

The support team for Bing Rewards has the essential tools and resources to investigate the issue. Please note that their response time is usually within 24 hours, but it may take longer depending on the volume of tickets they receive (first come, first served). Thank you.

Check Rewards Order history first, then submit a Microsoft Rewards Support request if the missing balance is not accounted for by the three $10 redemptions.

    1. Review the redemption transactions

    1. Sign in to the Microsoft account that held the points.
    2. Open the Microsoft Rewards page.
    3. Select Redeem → Order history.
    4. Review every order created this morning, including its point cost and Status.
    5. Select Order Details for each Amazon card. If a confirmation email is missing, select Resend. Microsoft documents Order history as the place to verify redeemed rewards and their status.^1^

    This will show whether:

    • Exactly three $10 orders were charged.
    • An additional order was created accidentally.
    • One or more orders are pending or cancelled.
    • The gift-card codes are available under Order Details.

Also check the current balance on the Rewards dashboard. Points normally expire only when no points have been earned or redeemed for 12 months, so your recent redemptions are important information for Support when investigating this balance change.^2^

    2. Contact the team that can investigate the points

If Order history shows only the three expected orders but the remaining points are still gone, submit the Microsoft Rewards Customer Support form. Microsoft directs unresolved Rewards account and balance issues to that team.^3^

    Include:

    • The approximate balance before redemption.
    • The current balance.
    • The date and approximate time of the three redemptions.
    • Each order number and status from Order history.
    • The point cost shown for each order.
    • A screenshot of the warning about points becoming unavailable after October 15.
    • Screenshots of Order history and the current balance, with personal information hidden.
    • A statement that only three $10 Amazon cards were intentionally redeemed and that the rest disappeared immediately afterward.

Only Rewards Support can inspect the account ledger and determine whether the remaining points were deducted, invalidated, or affected by an account issue. Avoid posting account details or order numbers publicly.

If the displayed balance differs between pages

Verify that each page is signed into the same Microsoft account. Microsoft also identifies Give Mode as a possible reason for an unexpected dashboard balance, but this is only relevant if Give Mode is enabled.^4^
