    Please try this:

Open Device Manager, and make sure you've audio drivers installed and properly working.

If no audio driver is listed, you can visit your device manufacturer's website to download and install audio drivers for your system model.

If audio driver is present, you can try updating audio drivers to latest version.

Or if you've already updated them, try to roll back previous version to see if that works.

Also, run Playing Audio troubleshooter from Settings app > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters. Let us know what it reports back.

Try these steps in order on Windows 11:

    1. Check the audio device in Device Manager
      • Open Start and search for Device Manager.
      • Expand Sound, video and game controllers.
      • If the audio device appears, right-click it and select Enable device if that option is available.
      • If it does not appear, select View > Show hidden devices, then Action > Scan for hardware changes.
    2. Run the audio troubleshooter
      • On Windows 11, run the automated Audio troubleshooter in the Get Help app.
    3. Install Windows updates
      • Go to Start > Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates.
      • Install available updates, including audio driver updates if offered.
      • Restart the PC.
    4. Update the audio driver
      • In Device Manager, expand Sound, video and game controllers.
      • Right-click the audio device and select Update driver > Search automatically for drivers.
      • Restart after the update.
    5. Reinstall the audio driver
      • In Device Manager, right-click the audio device under Sound, video and game controllers and select Uninstall device.
      • If prompted, confirm the uninstall.
      • Restart the PC. Windows should reinstall the driver automatically.
      • Save open work before restarting.
    6. Install the latest driver from the device manufacturer
      • If Windows does not restore sound, download the latest audio driver from the PC or sound card manufacturer’s support site for the exact Windows version, install it, and restart.
    7. If the problem started after Windows Update, roll back the driver
      • In Device Manager, right-click the audio device > Properties > Driver tab > Roll Back Driver.
      • Restart the PC.
      • This option is available only if a previous driver version exists.
    8. Restart Windows audio services
      • Open Start, type services.msc, and press Enter.
      • Right-click Windows Audio > Restart.
      • Right-click Windows Audio Endpoint Builder > Restart.

If the device is a USB Audio Class 1.0 device on newer Windows 11 releases, a known issue can cause no audio output or Code 10 in Device Manager.
