MathType 6.9 equations stopped rendering correctly in Word after a recent Office update. Symbols like integrals, summations, and other advanced characters now appear as empty boxes. MathType can still open and edit the equations, but Word no longer displays them.

Report the problem to Microsoft using the built-in Help | Feedback | Report a problem path, but also check with Wiris to see if there has been an update to MathType that would solve the problem.

The latest version of MathType behaves the same. I have chatted with several Microsoft agents already.

Have you had any luck with MathType / Wiris support then? Have you been able to file a report with them?
