Use the invoice location that matches the type of Microsoft purchase:
- Microsoft 365 business subscriptions: In the Microsoft 365 admin center, go to Billing > Bills & payments. If using Simplified view, select Products > View invoices. If there are multiple billing accounts, use Change billing account. If no invoices appear, change the date range or select a different billing account. A Billing Administrator or higher role is required.
- Azure subscriptions: In the Azure portal, either:
- Open Subscriptions, select the subscription, then Invoices, or
- Search for Cost Management + Billing, select the correct billing scope, then go to Billing > Invoices. If invoices are missing, common reasons are:
- the invoice is not generated yet,
- it has been less than 30 days since subscribing,
- the account does not have permission to view invoices,
- the subscription is a free trial or includes monthly credit that was not exceeded,
- the wrong Microsoft Entra tenant or identity is being used.
- Microsoft Store purchases:
- Personal account: Sign in to Order history, open Order detail, then select Tax invoice. Tax invoices can take 48 hours up to 5 days to appear.
- Work account: In the Microsoft 365 admin center, go to Billing > Bills and payments, select the invoice, and download the PDF.
If a charge appears on a card statement but the invoice is not visible in the portal, search for the invoice number in the Azure portal search bar and select View your invoice. If the invoice still cannot be found, create a support request.
