My name is , and I am a university student in Somalia. I use Microsoft Word and Excel and others for my academic studies and assignments.

Unfortunately, my university does not provide Microsoft Office licenses, and I cannot currently afford to purchase one.

I would like to kindly ask whether Microsoft offers any free or sponsored Office licenses for students in my situation.

Access to Microsoft Office would greatly support my education and academic development.

At the moment, if you are a student and would like to use Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, Microsoft currently offers eligible students a 50% discount on Microsoft 365 Personal, which includes the full Office desktop applications and other Microsoft 365 benefits.

The online version of Microsoft 365 is free for everyone, anywhere in the world. It doesn't have all the advanced features of the purchased apps, but it probably has everything that you really need.

One thing to keep in mind: With the free version, your files are stored on your OneDrive.
