Microsoft Teams Assignment Due Date Not Responding on Vivo x300 FE

I am experiencing an issue with the assignment editor in Microsoft Teams on my Vivo X300 FE running Android 16 and OriginOS 6.

I can edit the assignment title and instructions, but tapping the due date does nothing. The time field is greyed out. This happens with both new assignments and existing drafts.

The same account and assignments work correctly on another Android phone.

I have updated Teams, Chrome, and Android System WebView, cleared the Teams cache, reinstalled Teams, restarted the phone, and tried landscape mode. The issue persists.

Please investigate whether this is a compatibility issue or a bug in the Teams assignment editor.
Teams version: 1416/1.0.0.2026183002/1007
Android System WebView: 154.0.8037.106
Device: Vivo X300 FE
Operating system: Android 16, OriginOS 6

    Hello

First of all, I would like to clarify one point: this forum is intended for users to assist one another and I can't confirm the issue within your environment. I can only share and discus some additional information based on my review to support you to go forward.

Since the same Microsoft Teams account and assignments work correctly on another Android device, this suggests the issue is not related to your account or the assignment itself.

Currently, I was not able to find any documented issues specifically involving Vivo X300 FE devices running Android 16 / OriginOS 6 and the Microsoft Teams assignment editor.

Even though the issue is more likely related to device compatibility, as a final effort to help narrow this down further, you can you try the following:

    • Create or edit a meeting in Microsoft Teams and check whether the date and time picker opens normally.

-> This helps determine whether the issue is specific to Assignments or affects date/time selection throughout Teams.)

    • Temporarily change the device language to English (United States), then reopen Microsoft Teams and test the assignment due date field again.

->This helps rule out any language or regional format-related behavior.

    • Go to Device Settings > Display and set the display size, font size, or screen zoom back to their default values, then test again.

->This helps check whether the issue is influenced by device display scaling or UI settings.

Besides, while investigating this further, you can temporarily use the Microsoft Teams web version to manage your assignments and check whether the due date can be edited there.

    Kind regards,
