Windows Server 2022 build 20348.5631 fails to redirect printers from MacOS Clients using the Windows app for Remote Desktop.

Same Printer attached to the same MacOS Tahoe 26.7.1 using the same Windows app version 11.4.1 is redirected correctly when using Remote Desktop to a Windows 11 Pro 26H2 build 26300.9457

    Hello @Luis Garcia ,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!

Thank you for your patience, and taking the time to elaborate on your concerns.

Since printer redirection works from the same macOS client to Windows 11 but fails on Windows Server 2022, I recommend checking the server-side RDP printer redirection configuration first.

Verify that Do not allow client printer redirection is set to Disabled under Computer Configuration → Administrative Templates → Windows Components → Remote Desktop Services → Remote Desktop Session Host → Printer Redirection.

Enable Use Remote Desktop Easy Print printer driver first, then reconnect and test.

Check Event Viewer for printer redirection errors and confirm that the Print Spooler service is running.

For reference, see Microsoft's troubleshooting guide for printer redirection.

If the issue persists, please confirm whether the redirected printer is missing entirely or appears in the session but fails to print. This will help narrow down the cause.
