Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hi Mark,
Good day, and thank you for explaining the situation. In your case, please first check the initial confirmation emails that Microsoft sent after you finished setting up the tenant.
When you sign up for a trial subscription, Microsoft creates a Microsoft 365 tenant and automatically assigns a default tenant domain in the format tenantname.onmicrosoft.com. This onmicrosoft.com domain is used as the foundational sign‑in identity for the tenant, particularly for administrative access and subscription management.
Because of this, it may be helpful to review the original purchase confirmation email, as it usually includes the credential details for the trial tenant. Please consider searching across all email folders (also in Deleted or Spam folders) using keywords such as "Microsoft" or "onmicrosoft.com" to help locate it. If you are able to identify and sign in with that account, you can try accessing the Microsoft 365 admin center and go to Billing > Your products to review and manage the subscription, including checking the subscription status, billing details, and available renewal or reactivation options.
If there is no confirmation email from Microsoft, you won't be charged for the trial subscription, as the registration is considered not finished and no trial tenant is created.
Hope this information helps. Should you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out again. I'm happy to help.
