Error 3762504530 is hexadecimal 0xE0434352, which means the program started but then raised a CLR/.NET exception; capture the underlying exception in Visual Studio rather than treating this code as a Windows security block.^1^

    Find the actual exception

    1. Open the solution in Visual Studio.
    2. Select Debug > Windows > Exception Settings.
    3. Expand Common Language Runtime Exceptions and select its checkbox.
    4. Press F5 to run again. Visual Studio should now pause where the exception is first thrown.^2^
    5. In Exception Helper, record:
      • Exception type, such as FileNotFoundException
      • Complete message
      • View Details
      • Any InnerException
      • The first relevant frame in Debug > Windows > Call Stack

The “source unknown” indication can mean that Visual Studio does not have source code for the runtime or library frame where it stopped. It does not, by itself, mean Windows distrusts your source code. Exception Helper can display the exception message, inner exceptions, and call stack.^3^

Also select View > Output, choose Debug in the Show output from list, and copy the exception line written there.

Check which of the 11 projects starts

“11 succeeded” is only the build result; it does not establish that the selected startup application can run.

    1. In Solution Explorer, identify the executable project containing the program entry point.
    2. Right-click that project and select Set as Startup Project.
    3. Open its Properties > Application and verify that Output type is an application rather than a class library.
    4. Press F5 again.

Class-library projects cannot run independently, and multi-project solutions must have the appropriate executable selected as the startup project.^4^

Only if Windows shows a genuine file-origin block

Use this branch only if the message explicitly says the file came from another computer or might be blocked. This can occur even with code you authored if the project, ZIP file, dependency, or executable was downloaded or copied from another computer.

    1. Close Visual Studio.
    2. In File Explorer, right-click the original downloaded ZIP, project file, DLL, or executable.
    3. Select Properties > General.
    4. If Unblock appears under Security, select it, then Apply > OK.
    5. If the project came from a ZIP, unblock the ZIP first and extract it again.
    6. Reopen the solution, rebuild, and run.

Only unblock files whose origin is trusted; do not disable Microsoft Defender or SmartScreen globally. Windows Attachment Manager records file-origin information and provides the Properties > Unblock option for trusted files.^5^

If it still fails, the next useful information is the exception type, complete message, InnerException, and first application frame from the Call Stack—the number 3762504530 alone does not identify which line or dependency failed.
